Mama Gina

Mama Gina will be sharing music from all 8 of her CDs, as well as brand new music! You will meet Nine Toes the Bard, a 15th century Welsh lass who once dealt with a Dragon. Nine Toes now travels the world, singing tales of love and battle, Pirates and Vikings, damsels and elves, trolls and that wicked Dragon that left her one digit shy. And you will encounter the intra-galactic Bard, Ava/She Walks the Stars, who sings of how very human we still are, no matter how far we step into the void and into the future. Come laugh, weep, laugh some more and sing along with Mama Gina and all her alter-egos!

Double Double, Tease and Trouble: drag magic is coming to CauldronFest! Tarte Nouveau will be bringing you a lineup full of witch-inspired drag and burlesque art. Artists to be announced later – but you’ll want to make sure to catch both their All Ages show as well as their 18+ show.

Tarte Nouveau is a Nashville-based drag queen and burlesque performer who first hit the scene more than 5 years ago. Having noticed the intersection of the lgbtqia+ community and the pagan community, she wanted to help create a fun space for both communities for both entertainment and celebration. She has been a producer and performer for drag & burlesque shows at other pagan events including Nashville Pagan Pride Day and Pagan Unity Festival. This witchy woman is a practitioner herself and a founding member of the queer-centric group Coven of the Wild Roses. Tarte’s art can vary from playful spirituality to human-rights activism. Achievements include Miss Tennessee US of A Diva, and she is a member of the Drag Queen Troupe: The Queen Collective. When she’s not on stage, you can often find her in the water flipping her fins as a part-time mermaid. She had the pleasure of attending CauldronFest’s inaugural year as a patron, and she is thrilled to be joining this year’s entertainment lineup!

Bio Info

Brian Henke IPMA Best Male Artist winner both in 2019 and again in 2020, Brian Henke composes and performs his music like a painter putting images on canvas, a kind of sonic shaman, drawing his inspiration from the world around him. His unique guitar style has been called everything from Folk to New Age to Neo-Classical to Pastoral or as Brian likes to call it “a big stewpot of everything, stirred up, simmered and served to taste.” Brian has just released his latest vocal CD “To the Faire”….2 more albums are written and partially recorded. He has also released seven instrumental solo guitar and harp guitar albums, two celebrated compilation albums, One group CD, and three previous vocal albums and….is working on a musical play with writer and playwright Byron Ballard. Throughout all of his music is an undercurrent of spirituality and mysticism that Brian says is very much a part of the creative process. Because of this he has received radio air play all over the world on shows as varied as WKSU’s “Folk Alley” and John Dilberto’s “Echoes.” A winner of many acoustic and electric guitar awards, he has also been a finalist in the prestigious National Fingerstyle Contest in Winfield, Kansas, the National Guitarmageddon regional finals in Boston and in New Age Reporters Top 10 for 2006 and 2010. “Brian’s fretwork is masterful, elaborate and he makes every note count…His compositions are harmonious, sometimes complicated, but always engaging…Brian Henke’s music is organic, mesmerizing and best of all magic.” – RJ Lannon – New Age Reporter  Dance with the Fireflies, the album, is fae-magickal throughout its 12 tracks, and it’s easy to discern Henke’s most prominent spell-casting tool: his stunning virtuosity on acoustic guitar, harp guitar, and his Gibson Les Paul. Henke is an awe-inspiring picker whose genre is known as “fingerstyle guitar,” and he’s in the same league with such giants as Alex de Grassi, Will Ackerman, Leo Kottke, and those guys. – Rick De Yampert – Wild HuntExcite the people! Tell them what to expect at your show!
