We will remember this skill, and practice it in the context of co-creative art. Through a short lecture, guided meditation, and gentle prompts, you’ll learn to listen for the wisdom and personality of a specific plant ally. From there, we will listen to our plant kin to co-create a piece of art. This could take the form of a song, poetry, dance, visual medium; whatever you feel called to do. There is no way to do this wrong. The focus is on collaboration with the plant, and opening yourself to a more-than-human dialogue.
No prior experience with plant communication or art is necessary. Just bring curiosity, openness, and a willingness to listen in a new way. Art supplies will be provided.
